Violin Emeritus

Leila Barker plays violin and provided the JFO with its unique color. She grew up in and around the Middle East studying piano and violin, and majored in violin performance at Emory University. Classically trained, she has also played in tango ensembles and dabbles in acousmatic composition.

An avid cyclist, Leila attempts to schedule her racing injuries around upcoming performances.
