Hank provides the smokin’ lead guitar work for the JFO. He grew up playing rock n’ roll and blues guitar in upstate New York. He studied music at Berklee College in Boston and York University in Toronto, and has since performed primarily in jazz and swing groups (most recently Modern Radio; The Rose Mahlers; Jump Start Blues Band; and Ozgnosis). He is also a certified teacher of the Alexander Technique and holds a Ph.D. in Sociology. He has been living in Portland since 1995.
